When DJ Soda released her first photo book in Japan earlier this year, anticipation was at fever pitch.
To get us in the mood for summer, she recently posted some behind-the-scenes pics from the aptly titled Candid, which came out in April from publisher Shueisha. It was shot by ND Chow in Tokyo and Okinawa over a week (and we assume it was still pretty chilly even in the south during the shoot).

Like other parts of Asia, the Korean DJ and model is immensely popular in Japan — so much so, unfortunately, that she was groped in a now-notorious incident at a music festival here last year. Some people seemed to interpret her penchant for wearing revealing outfits during her sets as permission to touch her.
